Lokale fondswerving op het werk van een van de besturen leden:
The Charity Corner at EIOPA invites you and your family and partners to enjoy an evening of delicious traditional Christmas sweets and wine on 15.12.2015, 17:00h @ the Lounge on the 28th Floor.
There will be also packaged traditional sweets for take away to continue the celebration at home.
All proceeds will be donated to the following projects:
1. Save the Children Emergency program for children living inside Syria: http://www.savethechildren.de/wege-zu-helfen/ihr-engagement/nothilfe/nothilfe-syrien/
2. The Antonius Watoto non-profit foundation situated in Utrecht the Netherlands http://www.antoniuswatoto.nl was founded almost 35 years ago and they ensure long term schooling for around 30-40 kids a year. They finance either high school or university (costs on average 300 euro per year per child). In the years that there is extra money collected the foundation sponsors small projects, like building a class room, latrines, dormitories, etc.
3. Rent-a-frame: http://unifrankfurt.enactus.de/blog/projekte/1402/ (info available only in German) Das Projekt Rent-a-Frame besteht aus acht Studenten der Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main. Wir engagieren uns ehrenamtlich innerhalb der sozialunternehmerischen Initiative Enactus Universität Frankfurt e.V. Wir sind Teil von Enactus, einer internationalen, unpolitischen und gemeinnützigen Nichtregierungsorganisation, welche es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht hat, durch studentische Gruppen soziale und wirtschaftliche Perspektiven für Dritte zu schaffen.
COME & BAKE FOR A GOOD CAUSE: The Charity corner will bake for the event and would welcome more support! Any EIOPA staff who enjoys baking / cooking is most welcome to join in preparing some delicious masterpieces for the bake sale. The Charity Corner will set up a meeting by 08.12.2015 to plan all baking contributions and logistics.
